我是项精湛的木工技艺。早在石器时代，我就诞生啦~
我年过千岁，身子却是老当益壮；我千姿百态，可衍生出千变万化的组合；通过将我结合，能够看出一个人手艺的高低。这样的我，令古代的木匠们对我又爱又恨，嘿嘿🤭告诉你一个秘密，古代木工之所以不需要钉子，全是因为有我哦~ 一凹一凸，我就能够取代钉子。

~ What am I? ~
I am an exquisite form of carpentry craft, and I was born way back during the Stone Ages!
You may think I’m old (well, to be fair I am a few thousand years old), but I’m fit as a fiddle! I come in all shapes and sizes and can be in so many different forms! The way I’m assembled is a great way to judge one’s skill, hence I’ve always been in a love-hate relationship with ancient woodworkers. I’m going to let you in on a little secret: see how there aren’t any nails in traditional woodworks? That’s actually entirely because of me ~ With a nice fit, I can replace the need for any nails!
Surely you should know who I am by now?
That’s right – I’m the mortise and tenon joint!
